The Chow Chow, known for their cute, teddy bear-like appearance and a unique blue-black tongue, the Chow Chow is independent, but also very loyal and sweet-tempered. Their lineage can be traced back almost 2,000 years when they were bred as hunting and guard dogs in China.

Health Facts
Northern Oaks puppies are tested at 7-8 weeks of age and see the vet at least 2 times before they go to their new homes. They are given age-appropriate vaccines and dewormer every 2 weeks starting at 4 weeks old. Each of the parents to our pups are given a detailed Embark DNA test to vet health risks and breed purity to insure each of our pups are up to snuff!
